Roman is responsible for managing the ca. £75bn portfolio of assets backing L&G’s Annuity liabilities.  He is also responsible for sourcing £10+bn p.a. of assets across traded and private credit, direct property, structured credit, mortgages, and sovereigns to back new pension risk transfer and annuity business. Prior to his current role, Roman was responsible for L&G’s mortgage, property and structured credit investments, as well as the risk sharing and quant teams. Roman originally joined L&G in 20216 to develop its asset structuring capability. Prior L&G, Roman worked in banking for ca. 10 years in JPMorgan and Bank of America across securitisation, structured credit and structured financing. Roman started his career at Allianz working in both group investments and risk management. Roman has a MA in Economics & Management from Oxford University and an MSc in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He is married with 2 children and lives in London.
