Egan-Jones Ratings Company, founded in 1995, is a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization (NRSRO) that issues timely, accurate credit ratings across private credit markets and asset classes. It gained credibility by flagging Enron and WorldCom failures and is recognized by the NAIC as a Credit Rating Provider. In 2025, Egan-Jones rated over 3,000 private debt deals.
