Alex Howell is Head of European Alternative Credit, leading European Direct Lending, Opportunistic Credit, public investments and other alternative lending strategies. Based in London he joined in 2023 and holds a BSc in Economics from University College London and an MSc from the LSE. Alex spent almost 11 years at Blackstone investing across public and private credit, including as head of UK Private Credit Strategies and latterly Head of Opportunistic Credit and Capital Markets Europe and APAC. He previously worked at Lehman Brothers and Nomura.

Fun Fact: Alex is a Trustee of Right to Play, a charity focused on improving the quality of education and healthcare knowledge for children through games and play
